IRCC just released a new Express Entry draw for Category Based Selection and invited PR Applications for the healthcare sector.
As mentioned, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada, has finally conducted the most awaited CBS Draw to invite Healthcare professionals to work and settle in Canada. 3600 aspirants have received ITAs on October 26, as the requirements for CRS Score has reduced when comparing to the previous Express Entry draws of 2023.

It is the third draw of the year, and gives hopes to aspirants as we can see that the number of invitation is increasing whereas requirement for CRS Points is increasing with time. So, we can assume that the need for experienced healthcare professionals is more than ever in Canada and your chances of getting an invitation to apply are also increasing.
Initially, IRCC used to conduct CRS based draws where candidates with higher points in the CRS Points Calculator were preferred for the Canadian Citizenship. From 2023 onwards, the authority is opting Category based selection. It is representing the fact that there is a more than ever labor shortage in Canada. The working model of Express Entry has changed after this new selection model.
As this specific round of invitation is for Healthcare sector, let us understand who is eligible to apply for Canada PR through the latest Express Entry Draw.
The healthcare Sector includes a total of 35 occupations or profiles, and experienced professionals, who have verified credentials, may submit their final application.
