IRCC has become active in organizing express entry draw. Recently, the authority has conducted the second draw of the week. The fact that this draw targets candidates with proficiency in the French Language. 

According to the latest express entry draw conducted on December 7^th, 2023, all candidates who have a minimum of 470 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System are eligible to apply for Canada PR. Before this, IRCC held a PNP-Only draw in which they invited 193 Invitations to Apply at latest.

You might have noticed that the CRS score in the latest Express Entry Draw is higher than the average because PNP candidates get an additional 600 points.

Update on Express Entry System

Starting from October 1, 2021, candidates of the Express Entry program are not obligated to undergo an upfront immigrant medical examination (IME) prior to submitting their application for permanent residency to the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

While an exam is still mandatory, candidates now have the option to upload a blank document in the Express Entry profile builder. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will provide additional instructions for the required medical exam at a later time.

Individuals who have already undergone an Immigration Medical Examination (IME) as a part of another application with IRCC or are already residing in Canada are not required to undergo a second IME.
