Prince Edward Island PNP conducted the draw on June 15, 2023. And they have invited 122 applicants for the PEI PNP with 82 scores. 118 candidates were invited from the Express Entry Pool, and 4 PEI Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs got invitations. 

This is the second draw of the month, while the first draw was held on June 1, when PEI only invited Labor and Express Entry candidates.

Periodically, the province of Prince Edward Island holds Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws to choose candidates from the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool to be invited to apply for immigration. The draws frequently take place for various streams, such as Express Entry and Labor.

Applying under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Labor and Express Entry streams provides individuals with a pathway to immigrate to the picturesque province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) in Canada.

On the other hand, the Express Entry stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry System. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for one of the three federal economic immigration programs (Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, or Canadian Experience Class) can express their interest in immigrating to PEI through the Express Entry system.

The PEI PNP then selects eligible candidates from the Express Entry pool who have indicated their interest in settling in PEI.

This Latest Prince Edward Island PNP Draw only invited Labor and Express Entry candidates. No Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations were issued on the June 1st PEI PNP draw. The previous such draw was held on May 4, 2023.

This is also the 7th draw of this year where PEI issued draws for candidates under stream express entry and Business Work Permit Entrepreneur, as we are already aware that Canada intends to give permanent residency to applicants with better CRS scores and eligibility.
