The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) launched the new EOI draw of this month by inviting 540 candidates from Different skilled worker programs to apply for permanent residency. All the letters of advice to apply (LAAs) were sent to the candidates who are eligible in this latest MPNP Draw. The draw’s Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate was 602 and continued to rise till 718.
This latest MPNP draw was held on June 15th, 2023 and target these major groups in the MPNP draw:
- Occupation-specific selection
- All occupation
- International education stream
- Skilled worker overseas
Who were invited?
MPNP Draw invited candidates to reduce the labour shortage problem and invite those immigrants who are capable of giving a boost to their economy. In this latest MPNP Draw, they invited four major groups in which:
Occupation-specific selection
Based on data released by Statistics Canada, profiles indicating current employment in Manitoba in occupations with high labour needs were taken into consideration.
- Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 255
- Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 602
This draw took into account the following major and sub-major groups of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021:
- 72 – Technical trades and transportation officers and controllers
- 731 – General construction trades
- 732 – Building maintenance installers, servicers and repairers
- 734 – Operators, drillers and blasters
All occupations
All profiles that were not chosen during the selection for a particular occupation were taken into account.

- Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 665
International Education Stream
Profiles that stated they complied with the requirements for the international education stream.
- Number of LAAs issued: 59
Skilled Worker Overseas
Candidates who stated they had got the direct invitation from the manitoba as part of a strategic recruitment initiative.
A total of 540 Letters of Advice to Apply were distributed in this draw, and 187 of those went to applicants who declared a working Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
What to do after Receiving the LAA?
You can log into your account and access the entire MPNP application if you get a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA). After receiving your LAA, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application. $500 is required as an application fee for the MPNP.
Once you have submitted your MPNP Online application, you can access your account whenever you would like to
- Check the status of your application;
- Update your contact information;
- Change your marital status;
- Add dependents, such spouse or baby
- Upload additional documents.

The Manitoba PNP held a draw on June 1, 2023, and 589 candidates from the Manitoba Pool were invited. The lowest CRS score in this Manitoba PNP draw, which took place on June 1, 2023, was 801 under the stream for skilled workers from abroad.
Out of the 589, the candidates who stated they have a valid express entry profile and a valid job seeker code were given ITAs. There were 214 ITAs in total. The four main skill worker groups are targeted by the MPNP Draws, which operate according to a predictable pattern.

What are Manitoba PNP Draws?
