In the latest IRCC Draw, a total of 589 express entry candidates have received special ITAs since they can apply under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This is a special draw to invite candidates and workers to immigrate to Canada for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. This express entry draw is unique since the express entry candidates with a CRS Score of 691 and more can apply under the PNP stream.

Provinces allow candidates with a score of 400 in the PNP stream to apply for immigration. In this specific draw, however, they have considered candidates with a score of 691 Points out of a total of 1200 Points in the Comprehensive Ranking System.

Proof Of Funds for the Federal Skilled Trades Program

IRCC made an announcement on May 2, 2023, that the amount of funds required for Canadian Immigration through the Federal Skilled Trades Program of express entry has changed. From now onwards, all the express entry candidates have to present proof of funds that they have ample money to survive in Canada.

Difference between Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program
