Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has sent 2000 Invitations for Apply (ITA) to eligible candidates in the latest Express Entry draw conducted on August 1, 2023. It is an All Program Draw, and selected candidates may now apply for permanent residence in Canada. The required Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is 517. 

Most of the Express Entry Draws targeted a specific occupation or field to fill the labor market requirements. This draw, however, covers all programs, which means, eligible candidates from all profiles and industries may apply for permanent residence in Canada.

What is an ALL-PROGRAM DRAW of Express Entry?

Express Entry is a computerized method for handling applications from skilled professionals seeking to immigrate to Canada permanently. Managed by Express Entry are three programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program FSWP

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) 

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Express Entry has two main steps and is very easy to use. Candidates who qualify for communication Entry communicate their desire in becoming Canadian permanent residents to the Canadian government in the first significant stage. The second main stage involves rounds of invitations (sometimes referred to as “draws”) in which the Canadian government extends invitations to immigrate to Canada to the candidates who scored the highest.

There are three distinct draw types for Express Entry:

 General rounds of invitation: IRCC extends invitations to applicants for permanent residency to individuals with the highest CRS scores.

2. Program-specific rounds of invitation: IRCC extends invitations to people who qualify for a particular Express Entry program and have the highest CRS scores.

3. Invitation rounds based on categories: The IRCC selects applicants who are qualified for particular categories it has defined to advance particular economic objectives and who have the best ranking CRS scores.

In the All Program Draw, IRCC sends invitations to all candidates of the Express Entry Pool. In this type of draw, candidates from FSWP, FSTP, and CEC may submit their application if they fulfill all requirements, and meet the CRS Cutoff.

Latest Express Entry Draw: Who was invited?

The Canadian government has established a points-based immigration system called Express Entry to facilitate applications for permanent Canadian residency. This system aims to attract skilled professionals, foreign graduates, and their families to settle in Canada. 

Invited Candidates fulfill the below requirements. To be eligible for Express Entry, you must

1. be a skilled worker, 
2. a recent graduate,
3. nominee from your province.

Additionally, you must possess a valid language exam result,

1. meet the minimum Canadian language competency standards, 
2. hold a reputable diploma, satisfy the requirements of your chosen immigration program, and

Next Express Entry Draw Prediction

The frequency of Express Entry draws may vary depending on the number of applications and available spots. Typically, draws occur every few weeks or months, and candidates with higher CRS Scores are often given priority.

The upcoming draw for Canada Express Entry is projected to occur under the Express Entry stream on August 16, 2023, but it is just an assumption.
