Latest BC PNP Draw Highlights

If you have noticed, British Columbia has started focusing on the Technology sector since the last skilled immigration draw. Before the month of December, the provincial nominee program draws from British Columbia targeted construction and healthcare sectors along with early childhood educators.

The minimum requirement for a Comprehensive Ranking System Score has not changed in the latest Draw. The total number of Notifications that IRCC has sent to candidates, however, has increased. All these scenarios make it obvious that the requirement for skilled workers in Canada is higher than ever. This is the reason why British Columbia has started conducting targeted draws for specific industries rather than the normal express entry draws.

If you want to understand the changing trends in the British Columbia provincial nominee Program, you must try to compare previous skilled immigration draws that were conducted in 2023. However, you will reach a conclusion that there are several priority sectors that are based on the labor market requirement in Canada, and candidate having experience in relevant education in these sectors have higher chances of getting permanent residency in Canada.
