Back To Back Two Draws For British Columbia, Invited 170 Candidates!

A back-to-back invitation round was conducted on May 9, 2023, by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) across two of its streams: Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration.

In 2023, British Columbia PNP conducted their 19th Skills Immigration draw as well as their fourth Enterprise Immigration draw. With certain prohibition, BC PNP sends out Invite To Apply for qualified candidates every week. The requirements of the BC PNP application inventory dictate the frequency, size, and timing of the subsequent BC PNP draw.

Draw 1: Skills Immigration invitations

A total of 155 applicants were selected in a Tech Draw, with ITAs granted to –

  • On a minimum score of 90, BC invited 93 skilled workers & international graduates from tech. (including the option of EEBC)
  • 34 Candidates from skilled workers and international graduates from PNP in the industry of childcare with a minimum score of 60.
  • 23 Skilled Workers & International Graduates (including EEBC option) from Healthcare industry with a minimum score of 60.
  • For 5 Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC) from Other Priority Occupations, a minimum of 60 points are necessary.

Draw 2: Entrepreneur Immigration Invitations

A total of 15 applicants got chosen for an Entrepreneur Draw, with ITAs going to: –

  • 5 entrepreneurs from the Regional Pilot stream with a minimum score of 119, 
  • 10 entrepreneurs from the Base stream with a minimum score of 115.

BC PNP last draws

Through the British Columbia PNP, it welcomed more than 171 candidates on May 2. Four distinct drawings, Candidates were invited through four different channels, three of which were targeted and one of which was broad.

Candidates from the Skilled Worker and International Graduate Streams will be considered if they meet the minimum cut-off scores of 104 (for skilled workers) or 107 (for international graduates) in the general draw.(including Express Entry candidates) were asked to apply. It is also possible that applicants for Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled streams may have received an invitation if they achieved a minimum score of 85.

With the last draw coming only on 2nd of May, british columbia now have more than 1000 of candidates to immigrate to canada on permanent residency.
