  • Must have scored at least 60 points out of 100 points in the SINP point assessment grid. 
  • Meet the language ability requirement 
  • Applicant needs to have a degree, diploma, or certificate 
  • You will need Educational credential assessment (ECA) to prove your educational standards. 
  • Relevant work experience (if required) 
  • Your work experience should fall in any one of the National Occupational Classification skill set. 
  • Settlement funds are required. 

WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF SASKATCHEWAN PNP? 

There are three Saskatchewan Immigration categories under the Saskatchewan PNP program, which are mentioned below: 

Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker   

The SINP International Skilled Worker category targets overseas skilled workers with a skill set, work experience, required academic qualification, and a desire to live and work in Saskatchewan.

The SINP International Skilled Worker category encompasses 3 immigration streams which are mentioned below:  

Saskatchewan Express Entry  

The Saskatchewan Express Entry stream addresses those applicants whose profiles are already present in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) federal Express Entry Pool and who have work experience in their respective fields which is in an in-demand occupation in the province of Saskatchewan.  

SINP Eligibility Requirements:  

  • Applicants must have an Express entry Profile  
  • Language Proficiency is mandatory  
  • Must have relevant work experience related to your education field.  
  • Applicants should have settlement funds 
  • If your work experience is in a skilled trade, you should have a certificate of qualification.  

Saskatchewan Employment Offer  

The Saskatchewan Employment Offer is a stream that targets overseas skilled workers who have a valid job offer for any skilled occupation from the Saskatchewan employer.   

Eligibility for Saskatchewan PNP Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency is mandatory  
  • Must have a full-time permanent job offer from the Saskatchewan employer 
  • Must have at least one year of paid work experience in the last 10 years   

Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand  

Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand stream of Saskatchewan International skilled Worker targets overseas skilled workers who have work experience in their respective fields which is in an in-demand occupation in the province of Saskatchewan, but they do not have a job offer from the Saskatchewan employers.  

Eligibility Requirements:  

  • Language Proficiency is required 
  • Post-secondary education or training of at least one year  
  • Must have relevant work experience related to their education or training field.  
  • Proof of professional license or status (if required) 
  • Applicants should have settlement funds
     
Saskatchewan Experience  

The Saskatchewan Experience category targets overseas skilled workers who are presently living and working in the province of Saskatchewan on a valid Canadian work permit and they are willing to apply for Saskatchewan PR through SINP.   

Saskatchewan Experience category encompasses five immigration streams which are mentioned below:  

Saskatchewan Existing Work Permit  

The Saskatchewan Existing Work Permit is a stream that targets overseas skilled workers who have been working in the province of Saskatchewan for the last 6 months on a valid Canadian work permit and who also have a job offer from the employer of the province.  

Eligibility Requirements:   
  • Applicants should have a valid work permit  
  • Must have a full-time permanent job offer from the Saskatchewan employer  
  • Must have worked for the employer for at least six months  
  • Applicants should have a language proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) .
  • Must have an approved SINP Job Approval Letter  
  • Provide proof of professional license or status if required by Saskatchewan  
Saskatchewan Health Professionals  

The Saskatchewan Health Professionals is a stream that targets Physicians, Nurses, and other healthcare workers who have worked in the province of Saskatchewan for a period of at least 6 months on a temporary work permit and they also have a valid job offer from the local employer of the province.  

Eligibility Requirements:   
  • Must have a valid work permit   
  • Applicants should have a legitimate SINP Job Approval Letter  
  • Have a valid full-time permanent job offer in the health sector   
  • Applicants also have to meet certain other Saskatchewan PR requirements  
Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project  

The Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project is a stream that targets overseas workers who have work experience of at least 6 months in the hospitality sector in Saskatchewan.  

Basically, this stream is for housekeeping or kitchen helpers, beverage and food servers, Cleaning Staff, and food counter attendants.  

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must have work experience of at least 6 months in Saskatchewan.  
  • Must have a full-time permanent job offer from a Saskatchewan employer.  
  • Applicants should have a work permit for Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6641), Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6453), or cleaning staff/Housekeeping (NOC 6661)  
  • Applicants should have a legitimate SINP Job Approval Letter  
  • Applicants should have a language proficiency of CLB 4 (IELTS score, TEF test ) 
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent,  
Long Haul Truck Driver Project  

Long Haul Truck Driver Project stream permits trucking companies to hire long-haul truck drivers to the province of Saskatchewan. This stream generally targets overseas truck drivers who have a job offer from the Saskatchewan trucking firms and who are already working in the province on a temporary work permit.   

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Applicants may apply for PR after they have worked for a trucking firm for six months.  
  • Must have a full-time job offer from the Saskatchewan-approved truck firms.  
  • Applicants should have a legitimate SINP Job Approval Letter.  
  • Have a valid Class 1A driver’s license in Saskatchewan,  
  • Applicants should have a language proficiency of CLB 4 (IELTS, TEF, CELPIP
Saskatchewan Students  

Saskatchewan Students stream targets overseas students who completed their graduation in recent years from any authorised Canadian Universities or colleges and they also have a minimum of six months of work experience in the province of Saskatchewan.  

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a language proficiency of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4  
  • Must have a valid PGWP (Post-Graduate Work Permit)  
  • Have a minimum of six months of work experience  
  • Applicants should have a legitimate SINP Job Approval Letter  
  • Have a valid full-time permanent job offer  
  • Have Graduated outside or in Saskatchewan with a Diploma, Degree, or certificate.   

SASKATCHEWAN ENTREPRENEUR AND FARM  

The Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm is a category that contains two Canada Saskatchewan immigration streams that target those people who have the experience to manage and run a business and who have a desire to expand or start a new business in the Saskatchewan province.  

Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm category encompass two immigration streams which are mentioned below:  

Saskatchewan Entrepreneur  

The Saskatchewan Entrepreneur stream is designed for individuals who are entrepreneurs, experienced business owners, or Business managers who are willing to settle in the province of Saskatchewan and want to invest money and start a new business, acquire a firm, or become a partner in an existing business organisation in Saskatchewan. 

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must have 3 years of business management experience in the last 10 years.  
  • Must have a BEP (Business Establishment Plan).  
  • Applicant’s business needs to create at least two job opportunities  
  • You have to show intention to settle in Saskatchewan  
  • In Regina or Saskatoon, you must have a minimum equity investment of $ 300,000 CAD and $200,000 CAD in another Saskatchewan community. 
  • Applicants need to have a minimum of one-third of the equity of a business they are working in Saskatchewan (if their investment is lower than CAD $1,000,000).  
Saskatchewan Farm Owners and Operators  

The Farm Owners and Operators immigration stream was designed to target experienced overseas farm owners who have experience in managing and operating farms. The applicant also has substantial capital and he or she is willing to invest their capital in starting or establishing a new farm in the province of Saskatchewan.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in managing and operating a farm.  
  • Must have a minimum net worth of $500,000 CAD   
  • Applicants who receive Provincial Nomination will be asked to provide a good faith deposit of $75,000 CAD.  
  • Applicants should have a solid, well-thought-out concept for a commercial Saskatchewan agricultural opportunity.   

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SASKATCHEWAN PNP? 

Here are some steps through which you can easily apply for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program:

Applicants have to create an Express Entry profile  

Step 3
Choose Saskatchewan when asked about your province preference  

Step 4
You have to make a profile on the online portal of SINP 

Step 5
After you fulfil requirements, your visa application will be verified 

Step 6
Once your profile gets selected you will have to submit all necessary documents

Step 7
Applicants will receive Provincial Nomination from Saskatchewan  

Step 8
After receiving a nomination, you can apply for the Saskatchewan PR.  

Step 9
Receive your visa and immigrate to Canada without having any difficulties.  

WHAT IS THE COST OF APPLYING TO THE SINP?  

The Saskatchewan application fee is $350 CAD. Applicants need to be aware that the Saskatchewan application fee is not refundable.  

Applicants also have to pay certain other charges, these are  

  • Dependent Child – $225 CAD  
  • Right of Permanent Residence – $500 CAD  

ABOUT COMPREHENSIVE RANKING SYSTEM (CRS)     

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Calculator is the points-based system used to access and score applicants profiles and scrutinise applications on the basis of ranking in the express entry pool. There are a total of 1200 points in the CRS Calculator.    

If the applicant has received a nomination by any Canadian provinces & Territories, he will get a 600 additional CRS score, which will increase his chance to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada permanent residence visa in the next Express Entry draws.
