Newfoundland and Labrador Express Entry Skilled Worker 

This stream addresses those applicants whose profiles are already present in the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) federal Express Entry Pool and who have work experience in their respective fields which is in an in-demand occupation in the province.  

Newfoundland and Labrador PNP Eligibility Requirements of stream: – 

  • Have an Express Entry profile. 
  • Must have a full-time job offer from an NL employer for at least 2 years.  
  • Obtain at least 67 points out of 100 points on the NLPNP point evaluation grid. 
  • Applicants should have a valid work permit. 
  • Possess a Canadian post-secondary diploma or degree,  
  • Must have Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if studying outside Canada. 
  • Applicants have to show intention to settle in the province 
  • Have sufficient money to settle in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada.

Newfoundland and Labrador Skilled Worker  

Newfoundland and Labrador Skilled Worker Stream is designed for overseas skilled workers of all National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Levels with a required work experience and a valid job offer from an NL employer to apply for provincial nomination.  

Eligibility Requirements:-

  • Have a full-time job offer from an NL employer for at least 2 years. 
  • Have an Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Work Visa.  
  • Have the necessary skills, training, and credentials for the position. 
  • Applicants have to show intention to settle in the province 
  • Settlement funds are required 
  • Your prospective employer can illustrate the necessity for your skillset. 
  • Meet required Language proficiency: (IELTS score, CELPIP score, and TCF score) 

International Graduates 

Newfoundland and Labrador International Graduates stream is for recent graduates who completed their education from reputed and recognized post-secondary institutions in Canada and who are staying in Canada on a Post-Graduate Work Permit.  

Eligibility Requirements: – 

  • Must have completed graduation from a recognized Canadian institution.  
  • Must have completed at least a 2-year diploma or degree program from Canada. 
  • Applicants need to have a full-time permanent job offer from the NL employer. 
  • Must have a valid Post Graduation Work Permit. 
  • Have the necessary skills, training, and credentials for the job position.  
  • Language Proficiency: (IELTS, CELPIP, TCF, and TEF) 
  • Settlement funds are required. 

International Entrepreneur 

Newfoundland PNP stream International Entrepreneur is for overseas nationals who have experience in owning and managing a business and who want to establish a new business in Newfoundland and Labrador, partner with an existing business, or purchase and operate a new business in the province.  

Eligibility Requirements: – 

  • Applicants’ ages should be between 21 years to 59 years. 
  • Achieve language Proficiency: (IELTS test, CELPIP test, TCF test, and TEF test) 
  • Must have a net worth of $600,000 in business and personal assets; 
  • A minimum investment of CAD $200,000 to establish a business  
  • Must have minimum 33.3% ownership (or CAD $1 million for equity investment) 
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in operating a business in the last 5 years. 
  • Must score at least 72 out of 120 points in the EOI assessment grid score. 
  • Applicants have to show intention to settle in the province 
  • You have to create at least 2 jobs for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. 

International Graduate Entrepreneur 

Newfoundland and Labrador International Graduate Entrepreneur stream is designed for international graduates who have completed their graduation at the Post-Secondary Institution in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.  


Newfoundland and Labrador PNP Eligibility Requirements of stream: – 

  • Applicants should be at least 21 years old. 
  • You should have a valid Post Graduate Work Permit 
  • English/French language proficiency test report required: (IELTS test, TCF test) 
  • Must have at least one year’s experience in owning or managing a business.  
  • Must create at least one job for Canadian citizens and permanent residents. 
  • Have to show documents supporting a business continuity plan with required & supporting financial support. 
  • You need to have graduated from Memorial University of College of the North Atlantic in the last two years, from a program that lasted at least two years. 

Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) 

The Atlantic Immigration Program (AIPP) targets skilled and semi-skilled overseas workers who are looking to relocate permanently to one of the Atlantic provinces. These are the four Atlantic Provinces

A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score Calculator is a points-based system used to access and score applicants’ profiles and scrutinize applications on the basis of ranking in the express entry pool. There are a total of 1200 points in the CRS Calculator.  

Suppose the applicant has received a nomination by any Canadian province. In that case, he will get a 600 additional CRS score, which will increase his chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada permanent residence visa in the next Express Entry draws.
