  • The Nova Scotia demand express entry system is for highly skilled individuals looking for permanent residency.

ELIGIBILITY UNDER NOVA SCOTIA EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM

If you practice any aforementioned profession, you may be eligible to apply under the NS Express Entry system, 

The eligibility to apply for Nova Scotia express entry system and the requirements to apply for Canada PR are mentioned below – 

  • You must be registered under express entry system
  • You should have at least one year of work experience
  • You should have an offer of a full time, permanent job from a Nova Scotia employer.
  • You should take the IELTS test to prove english proficiency,
  • If you are proficient in French, you should take either of the two French tests. 
  • The TEF (Test d’Evaluation de Français) exam measures four French abilities: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
  • TCF stands for Test de connaissance du français (Test of Knowledge of French).. 
  • Your Canadian language benchmark or CLB score should be 7 in either case.
  • You have to share work experience and LOR from all your employers if you’re from category B
  • Get ECA in time
  • Show proof of funds

NOVA SCOTIA EXPERIENCE EXPRESS ENTRY STREAM 

The Nova Scotia experience express entry stream is for skilled workers who have one year of work experience in Nova Scotia and are practicing an occupation as per the Nova Scotia in demand occupation list.

The eligibility to apply for Nova Scotia experience express entry system and the requirements to apply for Canada PR are mentioned below – 

  • Have at least one year of work experience in Nova Scotia
  • Age limit is between 21-55 years of age
  • You should take the IELTS test to prove english proficiency,

Physician stream

  • Get your degree accredited by the ECA

Entrepreneur stream

  • Entrepreneurs or businessmen who wish to establish a business in Nova Scotia in accordance with the Nova Scotia In demand occupation list can apply under the entrepreneur scheme.
  • They need to have a net worth of at least $600,000
  • They need to make minim capital investment of $150,000
  • They must be proficient in English and must produce a document stating so.

International Graduate Entrepreneur stream

  • If you’re a graduate from a Nova Scotia institute, you may apply under this scheme.
  • To qualify for Canada permanent residency, you need to run a business before you apply under this stream.

Skilled workers

  • The skilled workers stream was made to fill the shortage of high skilled workers in Canada, if you have the right education, training and experience and practice an occupation as per the Nova Scotia In Demand occupation list, then you can apply under this stream.
  • You have to have CLB 5.
  • You must produce proof of funds to be eligible.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF SKILLED WORKERS AS PER THE NS PNP.-

Skilled workers

  • Skilled worker stream is for the individuals whose profession has TEER 0,1,2 level mark under the National Occupation Classification.

Semi Skilled Workers

  • Semi skilled worker sub category is for individuals whose profession has TEER 3,4 level mark under the National Occupation Classification.

Low skilled works

  • Low skilled workers category is for individuals whose profession has TEER 4 level mark under the National Occupation Classification.

CANADA OCCUPATION DEMAND LIST AND NATIONAL OCCUPATION CLASSIFICATION – WHAT ARE THEY?

The canada occupation demand list states the list of occupations in demand in canada as a whole.

The occupation demand list targets the main occupations that are of particular value and importance across the country. 

The occupation demand list varies from province to province. Each province has its own occupation and skill demand list, through which they categorize the candidates and decide which one is eligible to apply for permanent residency in their province.

The occupations are classified and given codes for easy identification. The classification of occupations comes under the national occupation classification and the occupations that do not have a code are not held eligible in the country.

TEER 5 – No formal education required
