EOI (EXPRESSION OF INTEREST)
An Expression of Interest (EOI) is an assessment of the eligibility of potential immigrants by allowing them to submit an expression of interest in immigrating to a particular country. It allows countries to prioritise individuals with the necessary skills and qualifications through the EOI system.
By allowing individuals to submit an expression of interest in immigrating to a particular country, countries can assess the eligibility of potential immigrants based on their skills, qualifications and experience. It is also an efficient way of screening immigrants, as they are already pre-screened, and only the most qualified are invited for further assessment.

HOW EXPRESSION OF INTEREST CANDIDATES ARE RANKED
Those who submit an Expression of Interest profile are automatically given a score based on several variables. The criteria for the EOI point score are contained in the provincial point evaluation grid.
Those with provincial ties will be chosen first among candidates with comparable scores. Candidates with the most professional experience and the top language exam scores will be given precedence under the following criteria.
The province could be able to choose applicants using the EOI approach.

- if you practise a forbidden occupation
