The Prince Edward Island PNP has invited applicants for labor and express entry 2,464 times in the past year, and applicants for business work permits have received 96 invites.

Migrating to Canada through PEI PNP

The Express Entry, Labor Impact, and Business Impact categories are currently managed by the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program.

The latest PEI Draw, however, has not invited applications for the Business Impact stream, so if you are a candidate for the business stream, you might need to wait further. 

Candidates must register in the province\’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system if they wish to immigrate through the PEI PNP. Following the assignment of a CRS score based on the candidate\’s profile, the top applicants are invited to submit an application during recurring drawings.

With certain exclusions, the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) grants ITAs to qualified candidates every month. The requirements of the PEI PNP application inventory dictate the frequency, size, and date of the Prince Edward Island PNP next draw projection.

1. Labor Impact Stream

The Labor Impact stream is intended for qualified workers who have the expertise and abilities that PEI companies value. Candidates may apply for this stream under one of three headings: skilled worker, critical worker, or international graduate. There are unique eligibility requirements for each category in relation to education, employment experience, and language ability. The PEI PNP nominates successful applicants, greatly increasing their prospects of being granted permanent residency in Canada.

2. Express Entry Stream

The Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Canadian Experience Class are three economic immigration programs that are managed through the federal Express Entry system, which is aligned with the Express Entry stream. 

Candidates who exhibit interest in relocating to and working in Prince Edward Island and who meet the requirements for one of these programs may be eligible for nomination through the PEI PNP. Candidates gain more points in the Express Entry system after being nominated, improving their likelihood of being invited to submit an application for Canada PR.

Latest PEI Draws 2023: Highlights

In 2023, there will be 22 PEI PNP drawings. Potential immigrants who may qualify for a provincial nomination under one of the three PEI PNP categories—Express Entry, Labor Impact, or Business Impact—will be welcomed during these monthly invitation rounds.
