British Provincial Nominee Program
The Provincial Nominee Programme (BC PNP) of British Columbia enables the province of British Columbia to select and nominate foreign working professionals, international students, and entrepreneurs, to help fill the gaps in British Columbia’s Labour Market. In case of nomination, the candidates and their family members become eligible to apply to the Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to acquire permanent residence in Canada.
The BC Provincial Nominee Program therefore, serves as an easy pathway to skilled and semi-skilled workers, their family members, and international graduates in gaining permanent residence in Canada.
Eligibility requirements to be able to apply for BC PNP-
- The candidate must have a full-time employment offer for a TEER 4 or 5 job
- The candidate must have a wage offer that is in line with provincial wage rates
- The candidate must provide financial proof to confirm that they can support themselves and their families
- All applicants must fulfill the very minimal standards for English proficiency.
- The employer must also meet all eligibility conditions while hiring a foreign worker.
The BC PNP, therefore, helps in spreading the benefits of immigration in all of Canada’s provinces and provides a wealth of opportunities to candidates with considerable knowledge and training. It thus serves as a popular route for skilled workers who help boost the Canadian economy with their knowledge and skill set.
